A trio of Tennesseans have been charged in Watauga in several separate drug incidents—all involving methamphetamine manufacturing.  Last Wednesday, Watauga County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two Mountain city residents, Rebecca Jones, 36, and Michael Woodard, 46, charging them  with Conspiracy to Possess Precursor Chemicals with intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine.

Jones received 17 counts and Woodard received 31 counts. Both are currently incarcerated in the Watauga County Detention Center, Jones with a $25,000.00 bond and Woodard with a $30,000.00 bond. Both are scheduled to appear in court on February 23rd, 2012 at the Watauga Courthouse.
A Trade Tennessee woman, already charged in Watauga County, has been charged with more counts stemming from a December 13th, traffic stop in the county.  Watauga County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit charged Brandie Page with 31 counts of Conspiracy to Possess Precursor Chemicals with intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine December 17th following the investigation which came from the traffic stop. Page had already been charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine after the traffic stop yielded portions of a methamphetamine laboratory, according to the Watauga Sheriff’s Office.
