Lenoir Firefighters hope to wrap up Fiat fire PDF Print

A fire that destroyed a restored 1974 Fiat is being investigated today. 
Lenoir firefighters arrived just after noon yesterday to find a Lower Creek two-car garage fully engaged in flames. The property owner, Silvio Martinat, was storing the Fiat, as well as a 1961 lawn mower in the garage. Both were completely destroyed. A cause has yet to be officially determined, but authorities hope to find something today. Arson investigators are working closely with the Lenoir Police Department. The garage had no electricity- and authorities are suspicious as to what caused the blaze.
