Bet you didn’t know Boone Police even had a rock band…Boone’s Town Council chambers were rocking during the break of Council’s Tuesday night meeting. Town Council had scheduled this “Quiet Riot” to aid them in determining an acceptable maximum decibel level to include in the developing noise ordinance. The purpose of this demonstration was to gain information which will be incorporated into the Council’s final decisions on the noise ordinance—and Boone PD’s greatest hits.
