Three Arrested in Ashe August Meth Lab Blast PDF Print

Ashe Sheriff James Williams reports that his Narcotics Division has completed their investigation concerning the meth lab explosion from August 31, in the Crumpler area. Three members of the same family have been charged as of Monday, including Steven Eugene Lee, 39, Phillip Tracy Lee, 21, and 62-year old Ronnie Lee. The Lee family resides on Tom Fowler Road in the Crumpler area, according to the sheriff, and the men are being housed at the Ashe County Detention Center, each under a $10,000 secured bond with first appearances tomorrow. In the explosion, one defendant received injuries severe enough to be transported to Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, with the other two defendants received minor injuries and were treated locally.
