There were four people transported for minor injuries this morning in a rear-end crash on West King Street in front of Hilltop Drive-In.  The 9:35am accident involved a stopped Honda SUV and a sedan, (photo courtesy Hampton's Body Shop) Pauline Hicks, 72, driver of the SUV, two children, and Megan Rominger, 24, driver of the second vehicle—all of Boone, suffering slight injuries.  Watauga Medics dispatched a second ambulance to handle additional patients, but trooper Searcy said that all were treated at Watauga Medical Center and were released.
