Subaru Flips in Front of King St. Church PDF Print

The driver of a Subaru was slightly hurt as he flipped the car right in front of First Baptist Church on King Street—right as folks were arriving for the early services.  Boone Police say that the west-bound driver drifted off to the right as he was using a cell phone or other device, glanced into a parked car, then flipped over.

Medics and Boone Fire responded along with Boone Police, but John Hobbs, the driver, from Banner Elk, refused transportation to Watauga Medical Center.  Boone Police cited him with Driving While License Revoked, and said other charges non-related to the crash were also served.
