Avery County deputies catch drug offenders, fugitive PDF Print

Avery County sheriff’s deputies had a busy Saturday.


27-year-old Jeremy Burleson was charged with felony possession of Oxycodone. Burleson has been released on a $5,000 secured bond. In a separate incident, fugitive Wesley Robinson was charged with probation violations. Robinson, 41, is wanted in Wisconsin for a felony that occurred several years ago.


Avery deputies have charged two others with cocaine offenses. 24-year-old Sanchez Fernando and 37-year-old Paul Eldreds have been charged with felony possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. They were both held on a $5,000 secured bond.
