A landlord/tenant dispute this morning lead to a rapid response from Boone Police when the tenant reportedly pulled a gun.  The 7:30am incident occurred at a house behind Three Forks Baptist Church on US 421, and lead to a brief search for the suspect in the case.  Boone Police say the landlord was there to collect rent,

and that the tenant responded by getting a handgun, but after the initial tension over the incident, the man surrendered to police.  Charged is Sam Ragep, of the Highway 421 address, charged with assault by pointing a gun.  Boone Police say their initial response has lead to a search warrant and that the matter remains under investigation.
