Injuries in Roll-Over Wreck PDF Print

A rollover wreck on Valle Meadows Trail injured the two occupants of the single vehicle involved.  A woman called Watauga 9-1-1 at about 1:45 to report she was out of the vehicle, but that it had rolled twice and was propped against a tree with a man trapped inside. The man had recently had some surgery and was unable to get out of the vehicle at the angle it was stuck against the tree, prompting a call for Watauga Rescue, Cove Creek first responders and Watauga Medics.  First responders on the scene slowed emergency vehicles to a routine response, indicating that the two were not critically hurt.  The state patrol is in charge of the investigation.
