Boone Police are sorting out a complex accident sequence from a noon-hour wreck that started on Longview Street and ended up behind the Peddler Steak House. Boone Police say the Subaru wagon came off Longview, careened across Blowing Rock Road where it struck the rear of a small SUV,

then sped through the parking lot of the Peddler before running up an embankment, slamming into the front of the parked SUV, nearly climbing a tree before spinning off and landing on its side.  Two people from the car-a woman and an older man--were hurt and transported to Watauga Medical Center by Medics, leaving Boone Police to interview witnesses and sort out the sequence that lead to the crash.
