Watauga Farmer's Market Saturday--LIVE on WATA PDF Print

Missing all that fresh food all winter?  Never fear, the Watauga Farmer’s market opens tomorrow for its season run.  And the 2011 season will be the last at the Horn in the West parking area, as the market is moving the lot of K-Mart next season—and will run its Wednesday market from there this summer.  A new element to the Watauga market—WATA will broadcast live from the Saturday market from 8 to 10am, starting tomorrow with a live community forum format.  National sportscaster Sam Smith will handle much of the air work, and he’s looking to talk to anyone about anything while visiting the market.  So tune in, starting at about 8:10am for the new, live Watauga Farmer’s Market broadcast on WATA, and simulcast with WXIT for the second hour, 9 to 10am
