Cop says he caught him in the act PDF Print

A North Wilkesboro theft suspect was allegedly caught in the act by a police officer.
The officer allegedly saw 24-year-old Mickey Dewayne Williams start to take tools from Lowes Hardware, but put them back when he thought he had been cornered. An officer outside the store asked for the man’s ID- and was given a fake name. When Williams revealed his real name, police discovered an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Officers then searched Williams’ pickup truck and found several items believed to be stolen, including a camcorder. Williams reportedly admitted to taking the items from Wal-Mart last week. Williams faces various charges, including possessing stolen property.
