Last freshman-free week in Boone PDF Print
Sunday, 12 August 2007 20:00
There are four more days until freshmen move-in day at Appalachian State University.
The move-in process is from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on August 17- and while nearly 3,000 students will make up the fall freshman class, university officials promise measures are being taken for a smooth transition- both on the families and the town of Boone. Over 1,000 volunteers have been recruited to help freshmen unload family vehicles and carry their belongings to their assigned residence hall rooms.
