Amidst all the flooding, fire units from North Carolina rushed into Tennessee to aid in fighting a mobile home fire in Johnson County yesterday afternoon in the Forge Creek community.

Units from the Second District volunteer fire Department responded, assisted by units from Neva, Doe Valley, and Pond Mountain Volunteer Fire Departments.  The mobile home was heavily damaged, according to firemen who went to the scene, the fire reportedly started by the homeowner falling asleep while smoking, but no injuries were reported.
