Two Lenoir men were charged yesterday afternoon with multiple counts of larceny and possession of stolen property. At about 4:30, Boone Police officers saw two men acting suspiciously in the parking lot of Harris Teeter on Shadowline Drive.  The officers approached the men and found them in possession of items recently stolen from Harris Teeter, K-mart, Food Lion, Lowes Home Improvement, and Walmart.  James Carroll Tester, age 46, and Thomas Lynn Watson, age 39, both of Lenoir, were each charged with five counts of misdemeanor larceny and five counts of misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Tester and Watson were taken before a Watauga County magistrate where they were given a March 4th court date, then held in the Watauga County Detention Center under $2,500 and $1,500 bonds respectively.
