Respite From Weather: Maybe Through Today PDF Print

We had the wind and cold, but sunshine yesterday helped road crews with their task of clearing snow from area roads.  Today will be another for the crews to try to catch up, but the next two days will again be dicey for weather, starting with more snow late tonight, then sleet, then a prediction for freezing rain tomorrow and more weather mess. But then temperatures may rise and actually stay above freezing for a time heading into the weekend.
Two more vehicles became victims of the current weather mess late yesterday afternoon when they collided on West King Street just before 4:30.  No one was injured in the accident, but one of the vehicles ended up on its side, and being rush hour, traffic was snarled.
