Fire damaged a Park Street home this morning in a call answered by Boone Fire after residents in the duplex saw smoke.  Arriving units did not initially see smoke, then found smoke around the eaves of the house, and had to pull fascia boards away from the roof line to find the source of the fire. Firemen found the blaze in the attic area, burning insulation and some of the wood structure, but they managed to quickly put out the fire.  Fire, smoke and water damage in the 8:37am call was put at $25,000 to the structure and $15,000 to contents.  New River Light & Power was called in to pull the power service from the residence.
