Energy Efficiency bill passes House PDF Print

A measure that could require North Carolina utilities to provide 12.5 percent of their retail electricity from renewable fuel and efficiency measures
passed met the final approval of the House. By a vote of 107-9, the House voted to require utilities to comply by 2017. The bill’s next stop is the Senate.
