Monday, 30 July 2007 12:00
18-year-old Tabitha Messina, suspected of killing her father and his girlfriend, has been apprehended in Avery County. Earlier today, Messina was seen unresponsive in a car, prompting the quick action of first responders. While Messina was alright, the license plate of her vehicle showed Avery County deputies they had a murder suspect. Also apprehended was her boyfriend, 19-year-old Carlos Christopher. They have been charged with two counts of aggravated murder in Ohio, as well as some unrelated marijuana possession charges in Avery County. The victims, 50-year-old Richard Messina and girlfriend, 43-year-old Sandra Cover, were found beaten to death Sunday afternoon in an upstairs bedroom in South Euclid, just outside Cleveland, Ohio.
