Man Pinned In After US 421 Wreck

Globe Fire Destroys House, Burns Woods

Bank Robbery Suspect ID'd by Tattoo

Sheriff deputies in Alexander County say tips from channel 9 viewers helped them identify a bank robber in Hiddenite.  The images aired from inside the Peoples Bank yesterday at noon led to a number of calls, and now investigators say callers have identified the robber as David Allen Johnson.
