The entire community is cordially invited to
celebrate Veterans Day at the Boone Mall on Wednesday the 11th of
November at the Boone Mall.The program
for that day includes a concert by the Community Band from 1000 -1111 am; a
formal remembrance ceremony beginning with the ringing of the chimes 11 times
signifying the origin of veterans day at the conclusion of WWI at the 11th
hour of the 11th day of the 11th month; and, a formal
retirementceremony of depleted
American Flags conducted by Girl Scout Rachel Norwood.
