Lady Vikings Improve To 4-0

In Newland on Friday night the Avery County Lady Vikings improved to 10-4 overall and 4-0 in Western Highlands Conference play as they win over Mountain Hertiage 61-48.


Vikings were lead by 14 from Kimberly Gragg, 10 from Katie Peters and 9 points from Allison Vance.   


The Avery men contiune to struggle as they fall 82-60 to Mountain Hertiage.

Falling to 0-4 in conference play the Vikings were lead by Michael Pittman with 17 points. Kyle Cable added 15.


Avery will be on the road Tuesday night January 22 to take on Mitchell.
