Sophomores Cashion and Smith Earn All-State Honors

Appalachian State University softball left fielder Allie Cashion (Waxhaw, N.C./Weddington) and designated player Meghan Smith (Stafford, Va./Mountain View) earned two of the 12 spots on the 2011 North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) University Division All-State Softball Team, released on Thursday.
