ASU Athletics to Host S.C. Upstate Reception on Nov. 4

Appalachian State University athletics will host a complimentary reception for Mountaineer faithful on Friday, Nov. 4 at the High Cotton restaurant in downtown Greenville, S.C. The event begins with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by program at 7 p.m.

Werner, Zaveta Pace Bobcats At Mountain Bike Championships

Kerry Werner (Birdsboro, Pa.) built upon a solid start to the weekend with another impressive showing on Sunday, winning the men's "A" short track race before finishing second in the downhill, as Erica Zaveta (Erwinna, Pa.) took the top spot in the women's "A" short track competition to lead the Lees-McRae College cycling team to a dominating performance at the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference Mountain Bike Championships.
