That was certainly the case for the Watauga High baseball team Friday night. The Pioneers (6-7 overall; 4-4 Northwestern 3A-4A Conference) rallied from a 3-1 deficit and defeated St. Stephens 10-4 at Frye Field in St. Stephens, N.C.

WHS LX Falls to Bishop McGuinness

The Watauga High girls' lacrosse team suffered a 17-7 loss Friday night at Kernersville-Bishop McGuinness. The Pioneers (0-4) trailed 12-4 at halftime. Watauga High Athletic Director Tom Wright announced on Friday that the Pioneers softball and boys' lacrosse games at St. Stephens were rescheduled for Monday due to inclement weather.
