Today is the first day of the two-day sugar Grove Music Fest, featuring a great field of musicians, highlighted by 87-year old American treasure Doc Watson. Fest organizer Travis Roundtree said that all the money goes to Cove Creek Preservation and Development to keep up the historic school and to one of Doc Watson’s special projects--a sustainable development scholarship at ASU. The Chocolate Drops, Kruger Brothers, Swing Guitars and more and on the slate along with Doc Watson. The festival starts this afternoon and continues tomorrow.
