The Southern Conference in conjunction with SportsSouth has announced its television schedule for the upcoming football season.
The eight-game package, which begins on Saturday, September 4 with Appalachian State University and Chattanooga, will feature three ASU games this season. Game time for the season opener will be at 3 pm. Our coverage begins at 1 pm on WATA 1450 AM.
ASU will also be televised more times this season---at home with Elon on October 9 and October 23 at Western Carolina. Both those games will kick-off at 3 pm. .
The final two matchups set for November 13 and November 20 will be selected jointly by the conference and SportSouth to choose games that figure to have the greatest impact on the league race. The eight-game package is an increase from last year's seven telecasts on SportSouth.
The Apps, who have won 18 consecutive SoCon games, are looking for their sixth conference title in a row.
