UPDATED 7/6/2010:

*** Still no sightings of precious little MIA!

Please continue to look and pray for this little girl!

*** Mia was spotted this morning(6/28/2010) around 8:00 am on Elk Creek Road, the feeder route to PHM from Old Hwy 421 but she ran back into the woods before anyone could get to her. A search was conducted but no Mia. Please continue to help search for little Mia!

***Mia's collar and lead were found on a roadside on Powder Horn Mountain where she had slipped out of it. No sign of Mia! PLEASE if anyone sees her or has seen her call her family. Mia came from an abusive home and her new family was trying to socialize her and give her a little time to destress before having her spayed and chipped. So she does not have any ID at all. If you have seen this little girl, please call her family!!!

“Mia” is a small red, long haired dachshund, with white hair on her belly and a white and red spotted chest. She has one blue eye and one brown one. Last seen in the woods beyond the Powder Horn Mountain club house in Deep Gap. Please contact owner, Mark Burin, if you should spot her or be able to get her under your control. She might bark and growl due to fright, but has never been known to bite. Unless she is frightened, she is sweet tempered and loves human attention.
