The Watauga Sheriff’s Department is investigating the report of an armed robbery from late last night at a residence just northwest of the Boone town limits.

Victims told deputies that they had been assaulted and robbed in the vicinity of 127 Corby Court, accosted by four black males, one allegedly armed with a handgun.  The sheriff’s department has not released names of the victims, but they are looking for a mid-90’s model white Honda with North Carolina Tags.  Any information about this crime should be reported to the Watauga Sheriff’s department 264-3761 or High Country Crimestoppers 268-6959 .
