Hundreds of high country residents have a new distinction—they are now graduates of their high schools.   Avery and Ashe held their graduations Friday night, and the final class of what is now the ‘old’ Watauga high crossed the stage at the Holmes Convocation Center at ASU mid-day Saturday.  Now the furious process begins to move the operations of the high school to the new facility across town in time for the August 11th opening of schools in Watauga County.
