Sunday marks the 30th anniversary of the date that the original Mast General Store in Valle Crucis re-opened, John & Faye Cooper returning a treasure to the community.

Commemorating that, Mast is having a celebration Sunday starting at noon.  At 1:30, there's a toast to the effort and to the future, with the public invited to share messages and memories, experience the tastes of Mast, and enjoy live music.  Mast folks are calling the event a 'community get-together,' and are hoping for a good turn-out.
