Watauga County Crimestoppers and the Boone Police Department request the community’s help in identifying the persons responsible for several separate incidents last week.

Sometime between July 13 and last Thursday, a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 truck was allegedly taken from Boone Ford. The vehicle, green in color, was last seen with North Carolina license plate NSH-2271.

Friday, a Hilti hammer drill and a Hilti 14.4 volt cordless drill were taken from the bed of a 1997 Chevrolet truck in a separate incident. The truck was parked at Lowes Hardware.

Sometime Saturday night, police allege someone entered High Country Cleaners on East King Street and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Finally, a 37-year-old Hispanic male was assaulted at a mobile home located on Zeb Street. Due to the involvement of alcohol, as well as the language barrier, few leads have developed. A possible suspect was seen leaving the area driving a red Dodge truck.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at (828)262-4555.
