Head coach Matt Ginapro of the Appalachian State University volleyball program has announced his schedule for the upcoming 2010 season.

The ASU women, who were 14-17 last season, qualified for the Southern Conference tournament and lost to Furman in the first round. The Mountaineers return nine players, made up of two seniors, four juniors and three sophomore.
Kasey Sauls, who was second on the team in assists with 531, is one of the top returnees.
The Apps will play 11 home matches and they will also play in four tournaments, including the ASU Invitational, which is also Mountaineers' home opener on September 3. Valparaiso (Ind,), Eastern Kentucky and USC-Upstate will make up the four-team field.
ASU will officially open the season at the High Point University tournament, August 27-28. They will open tournament play against North Carolina A&T. High Point and UNC-Wilmington round out the field. The SoCon opener will be at home against The Citadel on September 25. And the SoCon Tournament will feature eight teams (the top four teams from the North and South Divisions), and will be played in Charleston, SC November 19-21.
