Former Appalachian State University quarterback Daniel Jeremiah has been signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as a scout.

Jeremiah, who transferred to ASU after playing the 1997 season at Northeast Louisiana, will be a College Area Scout with the Eagles. He has been an NFL scout for six years with the Baltimore Ravens (2003-2006) and most recently with the Cleveland Browns (2007-2008).

He graduated from ASU with a degree in broadcasting management and marketing. He also served as a production assistant for ESPN’s Sunday Night Football from 2001-2002, and he also had more than 19,000 followers on Twitter. He also recorded several podcasts leading up to the NFL draft.

The Twitter account and his Wed site, movethesticks.com, have been disabled. One of his best games at ASU occurred during his sophomore year when he scored on a one-yard run in overtime leading the Mountaineers to a 30-27 win against Wake Forest in 1998.
