12:33 p.m. - The Green Park Inn is officially the property of New York businessman Eugene Irace.

Officials at Rogers Realty & Auction Company said the sale closed yesterday.

Irace purchased the property at a live auction on March 31 with a top bid of $935,000.

Shortly after signing paperwork, Irace told High Country Radio that he was a fast-mover and looks to start renovations as soon as possible.  Irace said, “I think you’ll start seeing action here in a month if not sooner.  I know you will.  I don’t mess around.”

Irace owns several commercial properties, including inns similar to the Green Park Inn, all along the East Coast.
