7:00 a.m. - The High Country will see a lot more traffic this weekend as thousands of former Appalachian State students will receive their degrees at commencement ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday.

Most ceremonies will be held at the Holmes Convocation Center.  App State’s College of Education, College of Business and graduate school students will graduate on Saturday.  College of Fine and Applied Arts students as well as those enrolled in the University College and College of Arts and Sciences will walk on Sunday.

School of Music graduates will hold their ceremony on Sunday afternoon at the Broyhill Music Center.

Lees-McRae College students will graduate on May 22.
