3:50 p.m. - Boone’s Cornerstone Summit Church will hold a free cookout and celebration for the community this evening.

Pastor Reggie Hunt said the event will follow a large baptism which will be held at 6:00 at the Boone Country Inn & Suites.

Hunt said the cookout will begin at 6:45 this evening at Boone’s Brookshire Park and will feature hotdogs, hamburgers, beans, chips and drinks.  A large airwalk and other games will also be on hand.

The public is invited to attend this free celebration.
