Former Appalachian State University quarterback Richie Williams has found another way to feed his competitive nature.
Williams, the 2005 Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Year and who led ASU to its first national title that season, has switched careers. Following a disappointing three-year stint in the Canadian Football League that ended with his being released twice last season (first by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and then by Winnipeg Blue Bombers), Williams turned his attention to his real love NASCAR.
