1:58 p.m. - The Watauga County Parks and Recreation Department is putting on the Special Olympics Spring Games tomorrow and volunteers are still needed.

Keron Poteat of Watauga County Parks and Rec said volleyball, bocce ball, aquatics, and track and field events will be held tomorrow at Kidd Brewer Stadium, ASU’s Quinn Center and the Watauga County Swim Complex from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Over 100 athletes have registered.  To volunteer, call the parks and rec department at (828) 264-9511.
