The Boone Police and Watauga County Sheriff Narcotics Units have arrested three people in Boone on a variety of drug charges.

 38-year-old Heidi Lee Hayes, 43 year old Charles Glenn Sailors and 51 year old James Mark Walker have each been charged with trafficking by possession, sale and delivery of Hydrocodone, a Schedule II Controlled Substance, and for maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance. Hayes and Sailors were also charged with Conspiracy to traffic the drug, and Walker was also charged with Obtaining Property by False Pretense and with maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance. According to Boone Police, all three were arrested at a residence at 314 Meadowview Drive in Boone on Feb. 22^nd. A one-year-old child who was present in the home during various drug transactions has been placed in the care of the Dept. of Social Services. All three suspects were placed on $350,000 bonds and scheduled for a March 29^th court date.
