Watauga High baseball coach Pete Hardee has announced that the Pioneers scheduled baseball game on Tuesday night against Fred T. Foard has been rained out.

The game will be played on Wednesday instead at the normal time. The JV game begins at 4:30 pm, the varisty follows. Our coverage begins at 6 pm on Oldies 100.7 FM.

The Pioneers are currently tied for second place with South Caldwell. Both teams find themselves just one game behind Alexander Central for the No.1 seed. The Spartans are scheduled to play Hibriten this evening; the Cougars play St. Stephens. Details on those games can be heard tomorrow morning beginning at 6:45 am on WATA 1450 AM.

NOTES: The WHS tennis match at South Caldwell scheduled tonight has been cancelled. No make up date has been announced.
