10:25 a.m. - Authorities are working to flip a dump truck back on its wheels after it flipped on Highway 105 near Poplar Grove Road.

Dispatch with the Boone Police Department said investigators believe the dump truck was heading south on Highway 105 and the bed of his dump gate struck a utility pole and flipped the truck.

No injuries have been reported, but traffic has been backed up in both directions since the call came in around 9:20 this morning.

UPDATE @ 11:25 a.m.:
Boone Police say the truck took out a phone cable and Bell South has informed them that it would take two to three hours to repair.

Highway 105 will be narrowed to one lane of traffic from the Highway 105 Bypass to Fun ‘n Wheels until the line can be repaired.

UPDATE @ 3:51 p.m:

Boone Police said Highway 105 is now clear and traffic is flowing normally.
