7:04 a.m. - Don’t forget to get your U.S. Census forms in the mail because today is the due date for all Census forms to be postmarked.

Office Manager for Boone’s local U.S. Census Office, J.P. Greene said if you don’t get your forms in the mail today, census takers will be sent to your home to help you fill out the form.

Greene said, “That costs the government about $60 and it would sure be a lot cheaper on all of us if folks would just go ahead and send the form in by mail.”

Census takers will start hitting the streets next month.
