| National Weather Service Issues Special Statement in Regard to Fire Hazard |

12:49 p.m. - Officials at the National Weather Service are saying fire danger is currently very high in most of the listening area because of the unseasonably warm, dry, and windy conditions.
Meteorologist Phillip Manuel with the National Weather Service said he strongly discourages everyone from burning anything in the open until the region sees some rain.
