10:24 a.m. - The man who authorities believe shot and killed two Lenoir residents 19 years ago appeared in court yesterday.

Our news partner, Foothills Radio Group reports 50-year-old William Murphy requested a court-appointed attorney and is scheduled to appear in court again on April 26.

Murphy was charged with the murders on Thursday night.
