Flood Watch Issued for Region PDF Print
Written by Adam Hicks

2:35 a.m. - The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for most of the listening area that will be in effect through daybreak.

Weather officials say up to three inches of rain could fall through Saturday.  The extra rainfall coupled with the melting snow could cause creeks, rivers, and streams to swell and flood.

As of early Saturday morning, High Country Radio has not received any reports of flooding in the region, but weather officials are still advising to stay alert and take proper precautionary measures during times of heavy rainfall.
