1:34 p.m. - Six Boone residents face drug charges after a joint investigation with the Boone Police Department and the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s Unit.
Sergeant Carson Puckett of the Boone P.D. released the names and charges of those arrested:
George Nicholas Foster, age 20, of 515 Junaluska Road, Boone, NC was
charged with Conspiracy to Sell Marijuana, Possession with Intent to
Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Sell and Deliver Marijuana. Foster was
taken before the Watauga County Magistrate, where he was given a $5,000
secured bond amount and an April 23, 2010 court date.
Richard Alshaud Foster, age 19, of 113 Sherry Lane, Boone, NC was charged with Conspiracy to Sell Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Foster was taken before the Watauga County Magistrate, where he was given a $5,000 secured bond and an April 23, 2010 court date.
Laura Foster Furr, age 21, of 113 Sherry Lane, Boone, NC was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Furr was taken before the Watauga County Magistrate, where she was given a $3,000 secured bond and an April 23, 2010 court date.
Tyler Steven White, age 18, of 515 Junaluska Road, Boone, NC was charged with Conspiracy to Sell Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Sell and Deliver Marijuana. White was taken before the Watauga County Magistrate, where he was given a $5,000 secured bond amount and an April 23, 2010 court date.
John Wesley LaCue, age 29, of 309 Junaluska Road, Boone, NC was charged with two counts of Conspiracy to Sell Marijuana and one count of simple possession of marijuana. LaCue was taken before the Watauga County Magistrate, where he was given a $5,000 secured bond amount and an April 23, 2010 court date
Thomas Britton Clark, age 37, of 139 Patton Lane, Boone, NC was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Counterfeit Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Sell Counterfeit Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine). Clark was taken before the Watauga County Magistrate, where he was given a $5,000 secured bond amount and an April 23, 2010 court date.
Sergeant Puckett was unavailable for further comment early Friday afternoon, but High Country Radio will pass along more information when it becomes available.
