10:10 a.m. - After being rescheduled because of inclement weather, the 19th Annual High Country Heart Breakfast on Friday, March 12.

The annual breakfast fundraiser for the American Red Cross will be held at Appalachian Brian Estates on Shadowline Drive in Boone from 7:00 until 9:30.  Hardee’s of Boone will be providing the food.

The event was originally scheduled for February 12.

High Country Radio will be broadcasting live from the event on AM 1450 WATA and Mix 102.3.
