2:41 p.m. - The Watauga County Board of Commissioners will hold a two-day retreat on Thursday and Friday to review goals and objectives for Watauga County.

The retreat will be held today from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. Friday through 5:00 p.m.

Specific items on the agenda include 2011 budget discussion, landfill energy projects discussions, school board funding issues, and many other topics.

The retreat will be held in the Commissioners’ Conference Room on King Street in downtown Boone.
