According to Watauga County Crimestoppers, someone chose right around Valentine’s Day to steal a large piece of amethyst from a location on Heavenly Mountain Drive. The tall chunk of unfinished gemstone,

valued at over $100,000 was chiseled from it’s location in one of the Heavenly Mountain meditation halls. Crimestoppers seeks information from anyone who may have knowledge about this crime. Crimestoppers also seeks information regarding two males observed taking a 4 wheeler from an outbuilding located at 279 Little Creek Road in Todd.
